Support for theatrical studies in K-12 education is important. My belief
is that social development as a person is equally as important as textbook
study. I
have been involved with the theater arts a little bit myself in school.
I know how important it is for some students to try to "break out"
of their shell. When students feel more comfortable with themselves as
human beings, their minds open up and their willingness to be involved
grows. Their education grows.
